Sterling silver is a metal that oxidizes over time, but it will always return to its original color and condition after a simple cleaning. However, we recommend removing your silver jewelery before going to the pool or spa as the chlorine will accelerate its oxidation, and it will probably require cleaning afterwards.
Cleaning: With a silver cleaner or by concocting a mixture of baking soda and water, you can scrub your jewelry with a soft-bristled toothbrush. There are also jewelry cleaning wipes that work great for cleaning.
